TIME FOR PORTFOLIO - DIGITALS SESSIONS

Time for Print, or 'TFP', is a term used in many online photography communities describing an arrangement between a model and a photographer, whereby the photographer agrees to provide the model with an agreed number of pictures of the best photographs from the session and a limited license to use those pictures in return for the model's time. There are benefits to both parties of such an arrangement: the model can build a portfolio of prints to show to prospective clients at little or no cost, while the photographer gets a model for a particular project with little if any outlay of cash.

Beyond the specifics, I agree to do these TFP sessions on a few conditions:

That the model has a concept or desire for collaboration which will result in shots that will enhance my portfolio. The time and effort spent has to benefit both of us, and considering I will be spending hours editing the images I need to ensure that it is time well spent.

I also ask models to do practical things like always crediting me, including a website link or tag, when they post the shots online, as well as 'liking' my Facebook page and generally helping me get my name out there.

I always set the goal that the model waits no longer than 2 weeks for the final images to be delivered. I want the people I collaborate with to remember me as being timely and professional, as well as able to create a great image.

General business principles still apply.

After you have reviewed the photography services agreement, please complete the below form to request your session booking.

Your session will include an online downloadable gallery with your final images I have personally hand picked for you within two weeks of your session.

Beginning July 2023, TFP Sessions will include limited photography time and up to 10 final images. A non-refundable $50 booking fee is required to hold your session date/time but may be applied to the purchase of additional images. I will also provide a 10 image printed proof book with the images you select.

Your gallery will have mostly color images with an option to apply a B&W filter. If you prefer mostly B&W, please let me know prior to your session.

I do only minor editing such as color corrections, image straightening, and very light retouching. I do not offer any other major editing and I do not do any body shaping.

Cancellation must be in writing even if the cancellation has been communicated to photographer by phone call.

If cancellation is less than 24 hours in advance or if you are a no show, a booking fee of $125 will be required to reschedule.

Repeated no shows and last minute cancellations will results in refusal of services.
